Because at the Vanboxtel service desk, you ensure clear and workable schedules every day, coordinate the work of our people and handle customer reports. And as the person who answers the phone, you are also the calling card of our company. If that’s not a pivot function!
What will you do?
Imagine. At one of our customers, a huge logistics organization, the connection in the warehouse is lost. As a result, the entire operation is halted. And another customer, a large nursery, cannot log in to office automation. Just two examples of reports that arrive at our service desk. You take the right actions. First you record the reports in the system in which all activities are registered. Here you can see at a glance which jobs are open, which employees are working on and how the schedules are put together. Then you start planning and coordinating.
People are central to Vanboxtel. Something that you constantly take into account. This way, you don’t just plan work with an employee who has time. No. The main thing is that the right person is on the right task. Who best suits this customer and who knows the most about this type of malfunction or the hardware or software? Is it a purely technical job? Or does a lot need to be explained to the customer? Thanks to your human knowledge, you know how to link the right talents to the customer and the work.
Of course, not only error messages come in. You also receive phone calls about orders or requests for quotes. Does a customer want to order a hundred new barcode scanners and have them configured and implemented? Then you plan this process in such a way that the tasks of the various departments involved are seamlessly linked. So you switch a lot with your colleagues. And that is exactly what makes this job so interesting. You are in contact with all departments and know all your colleagues in no time. This is also because part of the service desk, the customer support, is occupied by other technicians every day. You feel like a fish in water in this dynamic environment.
